Empire of Man: Battle March Army is a complete boxed force designed to get the soldiers of the Empire onto the battlefield in the fast-paced Battle March game mode for Warhammer: The Old World. Containing a Commander of the Empire and 55 additional miniatures drawn from several different Empire units, this set provides an excellent starting point for a new general or a convenient way for an experienced player to assemble a compact Battle March force.

Battle March brings the battles of Warhammer: The Old World to a smaller scale, with armies of approximately 400–750 points. These games are quicker to set up and play than a full-sized battle while retaining the manoeuvring, tactical decisions, charges, shooting, and close combat that define Warhammer: The Old World. It's an ideal format for players taking their first steps into the World of Legend, as well as veterans looking for battles that can be completed when gaming time is limited.

The Empire of Man Battle March Army brings together a versatile selection of troops capable of fighting across multiple phases of the game. At its head is a Commander of the Empire, ready to lead the force and provide a suitably heroic focal point for your army.

The main battle line is formed by 20 Empire State Troops, representing the disciplined soldiers upon whom the Empire depends. They are supported by 10 State Missile Troops and 10 Empire Archers, giving the force useful ranged capability and allowing an Empire general to pressure approaching enemies before the armies meet in close combat.

For those occasions when discipline alone isn't enough, the box also contains 10 Flagellants. Driven by fanatical faith, these wild-eyed warriors bring a very different character to the otherwise organised ranks of the Empire.

Rounding out the force are 5 Empire Pistoliers. These mounted warriors add speed and mobility to the army, giving you a unit capable of racing around the battlefield and supporting the slower formations of infantry.

Together, these units create a varied Empire force with infantry, missile troops, fanatical warriors, and fast cavalry to command. This makes the box particularly useful for learning how different unit types interact while giving players plenty of tactical options in the compact battles for which Battle March is designed.

With 56 miniatures in total, the set is also a substantial addition to an existing Empire collection. The units can form the foundation of a dedicated Battle March army before being incorporated into a larger Empire of Man host as your collection grows.
