Warhammer Colour Base: Thousand Sons Blue is a rich, vibrant turquoise-blue acrylic paint designed to provide strong and consistent base coverage for Warhammer miniatures. Its highly pigmented Base formulation makes it an excellent starting point for striking blue, teal, and turquoise colour schemes, providing a solid foundation for subsequent shading, layering, and highlighting.

Thousand Sons Blue is particularly well suited to power armour, helmets, shoulder pads, shields, weapons, decorative details, and other areas where a distinctive blue-green tone is required. Its vibrant yet slightly muted character makes it especially suitable for the iconic armour of the Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marines, while also providing an excellent foundation for brighter turquoise highlights applied later in the painting process.

As part of the Warhammer Colour Base range, Thousand Sons Blue is formulated specifically for painting miniatures. Base paints feature a high concentration of pigment to help hobbyists achieve dependable coverage while preserving the fine sculpted details of their models when applied in appropriately thin coats.

The versatile turquoise-blue tone can be used across Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, and other miniature ranges. It is also an excellent option for vehicles, scenery, terrain, and general modelling projects, particularly when creating arcane armour, magical effects, alien technology, and striking blue-green colour schemes.
