Warhammer Colour Base: Barak-Nar Burgundy is a deep, rich burgundy acrylic paint designed to provide strong and consistent base coverage for Warhammer miniatures. Its highly pigmented Base formulation makes it an excellent starting point for dark red, wine-coloured, and reddish-purple colour schemes, providing a solid foundation for subsequent shading, layering, and highlighting.

Barak-Nar Burgundy is particularly well suited to armour, clothing, cloaks, robes, banners, shields, heraldry, and other areas where a dark, sophisticated burgundy tone is required. Its muted, reddish-purple character makes it especially suitable for Kharadron Overlords colour schemes, particularly those associated with Barak-Nar, while also providing an excellent foundation for brighter red and purple highlights applied later in the painting process.

As part of the Warhammer Colour Base range, Barak-Nar Burgundy is formulated specifically for painting miniatures. Base paints feature a high concentration of pigment to help hobbyists achieve dependable coverage while preserving the fine sculpted details of their models when applied in appropriately thin coats.

The versatile dark burgundy tone can be used across Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, and other miniature ranges. It is also an excellent option for vehicles, scenery, terrain, and general modelling projects, particularly when creating regal clothing, decorative armour, rich heraldic colours, and atmospheric fantasy colour schemes.
