Space Marines: Vanguard Veteran Squad with Jump Packs unleashes an elite formation of highly mobile melee specialists upon the battlefields of Warhammer 40,000. Equipped with powerful jump packs and an impressive arsenal of close-combat weapons, Vanguard Veterans can soar across the battlefield before crashing into critical enemy positions with devastating force.

Vanguard Veterans are experienced Space Marine warriors who excel at taking the fight directly to the enemy. Where other Adeptus Astartes units advance methodically or establish disciplined firing positions, these veterans use their jump packs to rapidly close the distance. They can descend from passing gunships, leap across obstacles, and drive through incoming fire to reach vulnerable points in the opposing battle line.

This multipart plastic kit builds 5 Vanguard Veterans with Jump Packs for your Space Marines army. Their combination of mobility and close-combat capability makes them particularly useful for disrupting enemy plans, engaging dangerous opposing units, and placing immediate pressure on positions that would otherwise be difficult for slower troops to reach.

The squad is normally equipped with heavy bolt pistols for ranged firepower and master-crafted power weapons for close combat. Once they reach their target, these elite warriors can put their considerable experience to work, cutting into enemy formations and forcing your opponent to deal with a dangerous threat deep within or around their battle line.

One miniature can be assembled as either a standard Vanguard Veteran or as a distinctive Vanguard Veteran Sergeant. The Sergeant features a unique head, additional purity seals, and a piece of masonry for his base, immediately distinguishing him as the leader of the squad. His standard relic blade can be replaced with either a thunder hammer or power fist, while his heavy bolt pistol can be exchanged for a plasma pistol.

The rest of the squad also offers considerable flexibility. Two Vanguard Veterans can replace their heavy bolt pistols with plasma pistols, while every member of the squad can instead exchange their heavy bolt pistol for a combat shield. A unique combat shield is included specifically for the Sergeant, helping him stand apart visually from the other veterans.

The kit includes an extensive selection of interchangeable master-crafted power swords and power axes, along with numerous heads, shoulder pads, honours, relics, purity seals, grenades, holsters, and decorative components. Each of the five miniatures also has a choice between two different shin plates for one leg, providing another subtle way to vary the appearance of individual warriors.

These customisation options are particularly fitting for Vanguard Veterans. As experienced warriors who have fought through countless campaigns, each member of the squad can be given individual honours, relics, equipment, and heraldry that reflect a long history of service to their Chapter. Crux Terminatus shoulder pads and other decorative elements further reinforce their veteran status.

The included Space Marine Infantry Transfer Sheet provides 664 high-quality waterslide transfers for finishing your squad. It includes symbols and icons for the Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Salamanders, and Raptors, along with unit designations, numbers, honour markings, and campaign badges. Combined with the extensive physical customisation options in the kit, these transfers provide plenty of opportunities to make the squad fit naturally into your chosen Chapter.

Whether you need an aggressive unit capable of rapidly reaching the enemy, elite melee specialists to confront major battlefield threats, or a veteran squad packed with modelling and painting options, the Vanguard Veteran Squad with Jump Packs provides a fast and flexible addition to a Space Marines strike force.
