Space Marines: Outrider Squad brings speed, durability, and hard-hitting firepower to your Adeptus Astartes army in Warhammer 40,000. Mounted on powerful Raider-pattern bikes, these armoured Space Marines can race across the battlefield, outmanoeuvre enemy formations, strike vulnerable flanks, and rapidly reposition wherever their considerable combat ability is needed most.

Outrider Squads are swift reconnaissance and assault troops capable of ranging far ahead of the main Space Marine battle line. Their speed makes them ideal for sweeping manoeuvres, encirclements, hunting enemy patrols, and applying pressure to parts of the battlefield that slower units may struggle to reach. Once they identify a weakness, Outriders can accelerate into the attack before the enemy has time to properly respond.

This multipart plastic kit builds 3 Space Marine Outriders. Combining the protection of Space Marine power armour with the mobility of Raider-pattern bikes, the squad offers a considerable threat range and can be used to influence the flow of battle across a wide area of the tabletop.

Each Outrider carries a heavy bolt pistol and chainsword, giving the squad useful options once battle is joined at close quarters. Their bikes are additionally armed with twin bolt rifles, allowing the riders to pour fire into their enemies as they race towards their objective. This combination of ranged and melee weaponry means Outriders can remain dangerous throughout an attack rather than relying upon a single type of engagement.

The kit includes several options for varying the appearance and equipment of your squad. Each bike can be assembled upright, tilting to the left, or tilting to the right, allowing you to create the impression of riders manoeuvring at high speed rather than three identical bikes travelling in formation.

One miniature can be assembled as either a standard Outrider or an Outrider Sergeant. The Sergeant can be distinguished with a unique helmet and tilting shield, while his chainsword can be replaced with a thunder hammer, power sword, or power axe. These choices provide several ways to give your squad leader a distinctive battlefield appearance.

One Outrider can also replace their heavy bolt pistol with a plasma pistol, adding another weapon option to the unit. A generous collection of interchangeable heads, shoulder pads, arms, backpacks, holsters, sheathed weapons, pouches, grenades, and accessories provides further opportunities to personalise the squad.

These interchangeable components are particularly useful when adding multiple Outrider units to a collection. Different rider poses, equipment, heads, accessories, and bike angles can be combined to create visually varied squads while retaining the distinctive armoured appearance of Space Marine bikers.

For hobbyists, Outriders provide plenty of space for displaying the colours and heraldry of a chosen Space Marine Chapter. The large surfaces of their bikes and power armour are well suited to Chapter colours, squad markings, weathering, battle damage, and campaign details, while the exposed mechanical components, weapons, exhausts, tyres, and accessories provide additional areas for contrasting finishes.

The included Space Marines Infantry Transfer Sheet features 664 high-quality waterslide transfers. These include symbols and icons for the Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Salamanders, and Raptors, as well as unit designations, numbers, honour markings, and campaign badges, providing a wide selection of options for completing your miniatures.

Whether they're racing ahead to threaten an exposed flank, eliminating enemy patrols, supporting a wider encirclement, or launching a full-throttle assault into a vulnerable position, the Outrider Squad provides Space Marine commanders with a fast, flexible, and heavily armed unit capable of rapidly responding to the changing conditions of the battlefield.
