Dune: Imperium – Rise of Ix is the official first expansion for the award‑winning Dune: Imperium board game. This expansion deepens your strategic possibilities with new systems, leaders, and challenges grounded in the technological world of Ix.

Set in the shifting sands and power plays of the Dune universe, Rise of Ix introduces three new Great Houses, each with powerful asymmetric abilities and six new playable leaders. Players will also unlock a host of new Intrigue, Imperium, and Conflict cards to enrich their decks and gameplay tactics.

The expansion adds two major strategic systems:

• Ixian Technology Tiles: Permanent upgrades purchased with spice that offer one-time, ongoing, or endgame benefits—distinct from cards and placed directly in front of your tableau.
• Dreadnought Units: Massive war machines that enter conflict like troops, retain control of board spaces, and permanently bolster your combat capabilities.

Also included is a new Interstellar Shipping track that rewards players for advancing and recalling markers at optimal moments, plus new “Infiltrate” and “Unload” cards that open up flexible strategic options.

• A new Epic mode raising the victory point threshold to 12 for high-stakes, longer games
