The wz.34 was a Polish armoured car developed from the earlier wz.25 half-track design. The tracked rear section was replaced with a wheeled drive system, creating a lighter and faster vehicle suited to reconnaissance duties. The wz.34 was widely used by Polish cavalry brigades during the 1939 campaign.

The vehicle could be armed with either a 37mm Puteaux SA18 cannon or a 7.92mm Hotchkiss machine-gun, giving commanders different options when building their force.
