The Norwegian Army used a variety of light utility vehicles, or field cars (Feltvogn), the newest of which is the West German Mercedes-Benz 240GD Geländewagen. As well as reconnaissance, some of these vehicles are used to carry and mount the Improved TOW anti-tank missile system, where it could be mounted in the rear.
