Warhammer Colour Layer: Wild Rider Red is a bright, vibrant red-orange acrylic paint designed to provide smooth, consistent colour when layering and highlighting Warhammer miniatures. Its Layer formulation makes it an excellent choice for building up vivid red tones over darker base colours, adding definition to raised surfaces, and creating striking highlights that bring out the fine details of a miniature.

Wild Rider Red is particularly well suited to armour, clothing, cloaks, weapons, banners, heraldry, flames, and other areas where a bright, warm red tone is required. Its distinctive orange-red character makes it useful for highlighting darker reds such as Evil Sunz Scarlet and Mephiston Red, creating smooth colour transitions, and adding vibrant finishing touches to miniature painting projects.

As part of the Warhammer Colour Layer range, Wild Rider Red is formulated specifically for applying controlled layers of colour to miniatures. Layer paints are designed to be applied in thin coats, allowing hobbyists to gradually build up colour, create smooth transitions, and highlight raised details while preserving the fine sculpted features of their models.

The versatile bright red-orange tone can be used across Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, and other miniature ranges. It is also an excellent option for vehicles, scenery, terrain, and general modelling projects, particularly when creating fiery effects, bright armour panels, decorative markings, and vivid red highlights.
