Warhammer Colour Layer: Xereus Purple is a rich, vibrant purple acrylic paint designed to provide smooth, consistent colour when layering and highlighting Warhammer miniatures. Its Layer formulation makes it an excellent choice for building up deep violet tones over darker base colours, adding definition to raised surfaces, and creating striking highlights that bring out the fine details of a miniature.

Xereus Purple is particularly well suited to armour, clothing, cloaks, robes, banners, heraldry, and other areas where a strong, saturated purple tone is required. Its rich violet character makes it useful for layering over darker purples such as Naggaroth Night and Phoenician Purple, creating smooth colour transitions, and providing a foundation for brighter highlights applied later in the painting process.

As part of the Warhammer Colour Layer range, Xereus Purple is formulated specifically for applying controlled layers of colour to miniatures. Layer paints are designed to be applied in thin coats, allowing hobbyists to gradually build up colour, create smooth transitions, and highlight raised details while preserving the fine sculpted features of their models.

The versatile purple tone can be used across Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, and other miniature ranges. It is also an excellent option for vehicles, scenery, terrain, and general modelling projects, particularly when creating regal clothing, arcane effects, decorative armour, and distinctive purple colour schemes.
