Warhammer Colour Layer: Thunderhawk Blue is a muted, cool blue-grey acrylic paint designed to provide smooth, consistent colour when layering and highlighting Warhammer miniatures. Its Layer formulation makes it an excellent choice for building up subtle blue-grey tones over darker base colours, adding definition to raised surfaces, and creating controlled highlights that bring out the fine details of a miniature.

Thunderhawk Blue is particularly well suited to armour, clothing, cloaks, weapons, machinery, and other areas where a subdued, slightly blue-tinted grey tone is required. Its distinctive cool blue-grey character makes it useful for highlighting darker colours such as Dark Reaper, Incubi Darkness, and Eshin Grey, creating smooth colour transitions, and providing a foundation for brighter highlights using colours such as Fenrisian Grey.

As part of the Warhammer Colour Layer range, Thunderhawk Blue is formulated specifically for applying controlled layers of colour to miniatures. Layer paints are designed to be applied in thin coats, allowing hobbyists to gradually build up colour, create smooth transitions, and highlight raised details while preserving the fine sculpted features of their models.

The versatile blue-grey tone can be used across Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, and other miniature ranges. It is particularly suitable for Space Marine armour, Raven Guard colour schemes, and dark military equipment, as well as vehicles, machinery, stonework, scenery, terrain, and general modelling projects requiring cool, muted blue-grey highlights.
