Warhammer Colour Layer: Dorn Yellow is a pale, bright yellow acrylic paint designed to provide smooth, consistent colour when layering and highlighting Warhammer miniatures. Its Layer formulation makes it an excellent choice for building up luminous yellow tones over darker base colours, adding definition to raised surfaces, and creating crisp highlights that bring out the fine details of a miniature.

Dorn Yellow is particularly well suited to armour, clothing, banners, heraldry, weapons, and other areas where a bright, pale yellow tone is required. Its distinctive creamy lemon-yellow character makes it useful for highlighting darker yellows such as Flash Gitz Yellow, Yriel Yellow, and Averland Sunset, creating smooth colour transitions, and adding brilliant finishing touches to miniature painting projects.

As part of the Warhammer Colour Layer range, Dorn Yellow is formulated specifically for applying controlled layers of colour to miniatures. Layer paints are designed to be applied in thin coats, allowing hobbyists to gradually build up colour, create smooth transitions, and highlight raised details while preserving the fine sculpted features of their models.

The versatile pale yellow tone can be used across Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, and other miniature ranges. It is particularly suitable for Imperial Fists Space Marines, yellow armour schemes, and bright heraldic markings, as well as vehicles, glowing effects, flames, warning markings, scenery, terrain, and general modelling projects requiring vivid yellow highlights.
