Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game: Rohan Battlehost provides a substantial collection of warriors from the Riddermark, making it an excellent starting point for a new Rohan army or a convenient way to reinforce an existing force for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. Muster the Rohirrim, saddle the horses, and prepare to defend the green fields of Rohan against the enemies of the Free Peoples.

Rohan is a proud kingdom renowned throughout Middle-earth for its horse-lords and skilled cavalry. From the settlements and rolling plains of the Riddermark, the Rohirrim answer the call to war beneath the banners of their lords. Whether defending their homeland from invasion or riding to the aid of their allies, the warriors of Rohan are amongst the most recognisable forces from The Lord of the Rings.

The Rohan Battlehost is an ideal foundation for players who want to recreate the sweeping cavalry charges and desperate defensive battles associated with the Rohirrim. Bringing together a themed selection of Rohan miniatures in one box, it allows new players to begin building a coherent force while providing experienced commanders with useful reinforcements for an established collection.

Rohan armies have a particularly distinctive appearance on the tabletop. Warriors equipped for battle stand alongside the kingdom's famous mounted fighters, creating a force that immediately evokes the windswept plains and mounted warbands of the Riddermark. As your collection grows, the Battlehost can be joined by additional Rohan heroes and warriors to create a larger army for increasingly ambitious games.

The collection also provides an excellent painting project. The earthy colours traditionally associated with Rohan lend themselves to natural greens, browns, muted reds, leather tones, wood, and weathered metals. Cloaks, armour, shields, weapons, and other equipment provide opportunities to add individual variation while retaining a unified appearance across the army.

Mounted miniatures introduce additional hobby opportunities, particularly when painting horses. Varying coat colours and markings can give individual mounts their own appearance, helping create the impression of a gathering of warriors and horses drawn from across Rohan rather than a completely uniform military force.

Scenic basing can further reinforce the identity of the army. Grasslands, rocky ground, patches of earth, small shrubs, and other natural details can recreate the open country of the Riddermark, while broken weapons, ruined stonework, or battlefield debris can provide the setting for a Rohan force already engaged in a desperate struggle against its enemies.

Whether you're beginning your journey into the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, assembling a dedicated army of Rohirrim, or adding more warriors to an existing Rohan collection, the Rohan Battlehost provides a thematic foundation for recreating some of the most memorable battles and cavalry charges of Middle-earth.
