The Diana was developed by mounting captured Soviet M1936 76.2mm guns onto Sd.Kfz. 6 half-tracks with an improvised armoured fighting compartment. Only nine were built, but they proved highly effective during the Gazala battles and the fighting around Bir Hacheim, particularly against British Grant tanks.

In Flames of War, the Diana offers long-range anti-tank firepower with strong armour penetration, making it a valuable support unit for mid-war German desert forces. However, its light armour means careful positioning and protection are essential.
